Policies and Procedures

Students will be graded in all academic areas based on mastery of the material and overall effort. Students will be assessed in a variety of ways that will include tests, individual projects, group projects, and various activities.

Students must complete all homework assignments. I only give homework that I feel is necessary to practice the material covered in the class and it is very important that students complete this so I know they understand the material and they get more practice to understand the material. Homework assignments will be due the next day, unless it is a long-term project and will be posted on the Homework page. Please make sure your name is on all assignments!

If your child is absent or must leave school early, a written note must come into school either that day if they are leaving early or coming in late, or the next day they are present in school if they were absent. A phone number must be on the note because validation will be required with a phone call if your child is not riding the bus and being picked up by another person. Thank you for your cooperation; your child’s safety is our number one concern.

As our lunch is late this year we will have a designated snack time every day. Please supply your child with a healthy snack that is not messy and a drink if they wish. Some ideas include crackers, pretzels, celery and carrot sticks, apples, bananas, grapes, granola bars, water, and juice.
